'Spend a Penny' at St Leonard's

For many years it has become increasingly a problem that the nearest toilet facilities to the church are next to the Rectory. We are therefore intending to install a disabled toilet within the Choir Vestry inside the church building. The 'Spend a Penny' appeal will be launched in September with a special event & the aim is to begin work in January 2010.

Healing Prayer

On the third Sunday in the month, after the morning service, there will be two Healing prayer ministers available to pray with anyone wanting prayer.

Methodist Church building name

Now that we are one congregation, both buildings are jointly Church of England & Methodist and there will soon be new signs to show this. The Methodist Church building is now called the 'Community Rooms'

Community Rooms' garden

Plans are being put together to landscape the space at the back of the Community Rooms building. Hopefuly the work will be completed ready for Summer 2009.

Alpha

A new Alpha Course lasting a total of 7 weeks will start on Tuesday September 23rd. Please speak to Pauline (698410) if you're interested.
